Matt Shellenberger serves as the Director of Athletics and Activities for Piedmont Public Schools, where he provides leadership and oversight for the district’s athletic programs and student activities. Dedicated to creating opportunities for students to succeed both in competition and in the classroom, Shellenberger is committed to building programs that reflect excellence, character, and school pride.

Known for his collaborative leadership style and strong support of coaches, students, and staff, he works to foster a culture where student-athletes and activity participants are encouraged to grow as leaders and representatives of the Piedmont community. His focus on teamwork, integrity, and positive experiences continues to strengthen athletics and activities across the district. In addition to his leadership role, Shellenberger serves as Vice President of the Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference, is a member of the Southern Nazarene University Kinesiology Board, and was honored as the Oklahoma Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (OIAAA) West Newcomer of the Year in 2026.
